Eco Hive works at the intersection of water, ecology, research, community and livelihood. Through citizen-led audits, field research and visual documentation, it explores the changing landscapes of water bodies and the relationships between people and their environments.
Art & Research
Ecohive uses art as a mode of research, learning, and public engagement. Through exhibitions, performances, artistic interventions, workshops, and collaborative projects, we explore the relationships between ecology, memory, culture, and place. We recognise aesthetics as an important way of understanding and communicating environmental concerns.
Conservation based Sustainable Livelihoods
Sustainability is inseparable from questions of livelihood and innovation. Ecohive supports community-led initiatives that encourage circular economies, sustainable production practices, and environmentally conscious innovations. Our work seeks to strengthen resilient livelihood practices rooted in ecological responsibility, social equity, and local knowledge systems.
Leadership, Education and Environment
We believe that environmental education must move beyond classrooms. Through climate leadership programmes, sustainability workshops, educational initiatives, and immersive learning experiences, we create spaces that encourage critical engagement with ecological questions. Our programmes are designed for children, youth, educators, practitioners, and communities committed to building sustainable futures.
Citizen Action and Climate Justice
Meaningful environmental change begins with collective participation.
