Sayantoni Datta is a social researcher and practitioner working at the intersections of environment, water, gender and community. Trained at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, her work brings together research, storytelling and participatory approaches to understand how ecological and social change shape everyday lives and landscapes.

At Eco Hive, Sayantoni works on community-led environmental research, with a particular focus on water, wetlands and the Sundarbans. She brings together local knowledge, lived experience and research to document changing landscapes and make environmental questions more accessible and relevant to the communities connected to them.

Koustabh Chakrabarty is a writer, researcher and self-taught artist whose practice moves between art, culture, ecology and environmental research. An alumnus of Jadavpur University, he uses visual storytelling and creative practice to explore the relationships between people, places and the natural world.

At Eco Hive, Koustabh works across environmental documentation, research and creative communication. His work brings an artist’s perspective to projects around water, wetlands and ecological change, using visual narratives to make complex environmental stories tangible, engaging and accessible.
